Revd Cassandra Howes

Revd Cassandra Howes

Cass is a Methodist Minister working as a full University Chaplain, a role she has enjoyed in five different universities over a period of 30 years.  Before that she trained as a psychiatric and general nurse and worked as an operating theatre sister. Cass is also an Interfaith practitioner and enjoys working with a variety of community groups in exploring similarities and differences and how together they can all build a more peaceful and harmonious world. She has been involved in LGBTI campaigning and support for a very long time, having chaired both LGCM and OUTCOME (Methodist) during significant times of change. Cass continues to believe that we can all be effective change-makers, that we can empower each other to be the people we truly are in the full life of the church.
