Leaders to gather at St Katherine's
Leaders of LGBT-affirming faith groups will gather again next month in London to share their expereinces, and for the first time an invitation has also been extended to those organising a Christian presence at Pride events.
The afternoon meeting at the Royal Foundation of St Katherine at Limehouse on 7 October will be the third such gathering, open to those running groups across the country in chaplaincies, in the wider community and alongside formal expressions of church. They will meet for fellowship and networking, along with increasing number of people supporting the Christians Together at Pride initiative.
OneBodyOneFaith is committed to supporting the work of groups at a local level, or online, which provide safe spaces for LGBT people, though our Visible Spaces and Gatherings initiative, and the meetings at St Katherine's, twice a year, provide an opportunity to network, share ideas and issues, relax and refresh. The October meeting will conclude with a labyrinth reflection, led by Cass Howes, one of OneBody's trustees and a member of the Iona Community.
