Celebrating and remembering our pioneers and founders
Today marks the beginning of LGBT History Month, an opportunity to look back at those who have laid the foundations of the freedoms we enjoy today, as well as forward to the challenges which still face. It's a time for thanksgiving, remembrance and celebration.
So if you haven't already done so, why not check out some of the wonderful stories of our pioneering LGBT Christian leaders over the past half-century, which we captured as part of the Christian Voices Coming Out project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund? You can listen or download the interviews here, as well as finding out more about our archive at the London School of Economics. There's also an exhibition featuring stories from the priject which can be borrowed free of charge from the OneBody office, suitable for schools, universities and churches.
We're always keen to hear of other people whose stories you feel should be part of this ongoing project, as well as anyone who would be interested in volunteering to meet and interview participants. If you'd like to get involved, or know someone whose story we should be capturing online and as part of our archive, do please get in touch.
