New Trustees - Welcome Jo and Thomas!
OneBodyOneFaith is pleased to announce the appointment of two new trustees, Jo Walchester and the Revd Dr Thomas Sharp. LIke all charities, OneBodyOneFaith depends havily on the skills and commitment of its trustees and we are very grateful for Jo and Thomas' willingness to contribute their time and talent to our work for the flourishing of LGBT+ Christians.
Jo (she/her) brings deep charity governance and strategic marketing experience to OneBodyOneFaith. Her own journey of reconciling faith and sexuality showed her the importance of the charity’s work, and she’s committed to helping build a Church where LGBT+ Christians can fully flourish. She’s passionate about strengthening the charity’s brand and digital presence to amplify its impact.
Thomas (he/they) is an Anglican priest and theologian in South-East England, teaching at St Augustine’s College with a focus on safeguarding and human flourishing. They co-founded the Young Anglican Theology Project and serve as Secretary of the European Province of the Society of Catholic Priests. A visible queer ally, Thomas advocates for trans and global majority heritage LGBT+ people.
The Revd Dr Mark Rowland, Co-Chair of Trustees, said: I am looking forward to working with Jo and Thomas and to the insights and skills that they will bring to the board. Their expertise and passion will help us as we move forward in our work and help us to achieve more of the change that we and our members long to see in the church and the world.
