Be Heard - LLF Consultation Closes Soon

The deadline to respond to the Living in Love and Faith consultation is fast approaching - with respondents asked to complete this questionnaire by the 30th April: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LLFcourse

We know that our members have had mixed feelings about engaging with LLF, and as an ecumenical organisation we have taken the approach of encouraing you to engage as much or as little as you are able.

If you have journeyed with the LLF process, or have thoughts and feedback, do make sure your voice is heard. If the format of the questionnaire does not create space for this, you can email llf@churchofengland.org.

Nic Tall from the Campaign from Equal Marriage shared this with OneBodyOneFaith:

Living in Love and Faith, the Church of England’s process looking at relationships and identity, is closing its public consultation at the end of April. So far, the level of response across the C of E is mixed, with some dioceses having – literally – just a handful of responses. This consultation will inform the College of Bishops and General Synod about the views across the C of E, so it is vitally importantt hat the broad inclusive voice of Anglicans across England speaks up and is heard. A report of the feedback will be published around September, and will be one of the main documents advising the bishops on what to put before the General Synod in February 2023."

Equal have also launched a “Tell the Bishops” campaign, with more detail on that here: cofe-equal- marriage.org.uk/campaign-action-tell-the-bishops/.
